This privacy policy covers an internal operations application used by Hurricane Outdoor LLC (the "Owner") to query and analyze its own QuickBooks Online accounting records. The application is not offered to third parties, customers, or the general public. It is single-tenant software used by the Owner alone.
When connected to the Owner's QuickBooks Online company file, the app may read:
The app uses Intuit's official QuickBooks Online API and OAuth 2.0 authorization. It accesses only the data the Owner explicitly authorizes during the OAuth consent flow.
The application operates in read-only mode. It does not write, modify, or delete records in QuickBooks Online. Any future write capability would require explicit re-authorization from the Owner.
Accessed data is used to answer the Owner's natural-language questions about the business's financial position (cash position, AR/AP balances, transaction lookups, reconciliation aids, P&L sanity checks). Data is never sold, shared with marketers, or used for advertising.
To answer questions, the app sends extracted data to one third-party processor:
No other third party receives the QuickBooks data.
Connection tokens (OAuth refresh tokens) are stored encrypted on the Owner's private server. Query results are retained transiently for response generation and may be logged for audit purposes on the Owner's private server. No QuickBooks data is transmitted outside the Owner's infrastructure except for the Anthropic API call described above.
As both the data subject and the operator of this application, the Owner can revoke QuickBooks Online access at any time via Intuit's standard account management interface, and can purge all stored connection tokens and logs from the application's server at any time.
